Why the industry earned its reputation. Digital marketing is effectively unregulated. Anyone can build a website, call themselves an expert, and start invoicing. Your listeners have been burned by that person and nobody has ever explained to them what happened.
Access equals ownership. If you do not have the logins, you do not own your online presence, no matter what the invoice says. This is the one that makes people go quiet and then open a laptop.
Building an agency without pretending. Dining room table, newborn on my shoulder, to a multi-million dollar agency. Including the parts that went badly, which are the useful parts.
Staying human while everyone automates. Everybody has the same tools now. That is exactly why the tools stopped being the advantage.
No Scripts
- No pre-approved talking points and no list of questions I need you to ask.
- No pitch. If your audience needs an agency they can go find one, and it does not have to be mine.
- Real answers on the parts I got wrong. That is usually the clip that travels.
- Send me the audience and the angle. I will build the stories around your listeners instead of recycling the same eight anecdotes.
